This proposal was extra special to me because I’ve known Murad since he was in 7th grade! Back then, I was his history teacher, and it’s been such a joy to watch him grow into the incredible person he is today. To be part of such a meaningful moment in his life and to capture it for him and Kylee was truly an honor.
A Winter Wonderland Backdrop
Set near Breckenridge, the proposal took place against a stunning winter backdrop. Picture snow-capped mountains, a frozen lake shimmering in the sunlight, and rows of evergreens creating the perfect mix of cozy and grand. The weather was calm and clear, as if the day itself was celebrating Murad and Kylee’s love. Their Breckenridge proposal had all the ingredients for a picture-perfect moment.
The Proposal: A Ring with a Story
Murad didn’t just pick any ring—he chose a breathtaking peridot stone with a beautiful backstory. While on a spiritual journey in Saudi Arabia, he came across a small jewelry shop. Among all the sparkling treasures, this emerald-green peridot caught his eye. In that moment, Murad knew it was the ring he wanted to give Kylee.
When he got down on one knee with this special ring in hand, Kylee’s joy lit up the entire snowy landscape. Their Breckenridge proposal became even more special with such a meaningful piece of jewelry.
Snowy Shenanigans and Sweet Memories
The shoot that followed was full of fun, laughter, and a little sisterly mischief. Kylee’s sister joined us to help create a dreamy, snowy atmosphere by tossing handfuls of snow around the couple. One of those snow tosses, however, landed as a snowball directly on Murad! The entire group burst out laughing, and the photos from that moment perfectly captured their joyful, spirited personalities.
